i love peppermint icecream

I absolutely LOVE peppermint icecream. It's one of the many reasons I love the holiday season. I saw it for the first time at the grocery store yesterday and had to buy it. It was so delicious last night! Every brand is a little different so I have to have them all since it's only available for a few months out of the year!

We always make an oreo peppermint icecream pie....which I'm sure we'll do again this year but I saw this recipe in a magazine so I'm thinking we'll have to try to make this, too.

I love this time of year.

I'm not ready for the peppermint icecream or that time of year. I'm still enjoying our Indian Summer and looking forward to Thanksgiving and Jen and Jasons visit. Then I will be into that time of year which I also love.

This has nothing to do with peppermint ice cream... but I was just revisiting your blog, and the first picture of nate as a monkey on your other post is honestly the cutest picture I have seen yet. Honestly, that face is to die for. I might steal it and enter it in a contest. Not really, but it is so dang cute.

But, now that you mention it, I will be trying peppermint ice cream this season. :)

So... ummmm rub it in the face to the girl who can't have any dairy because her daughter's tummy can't handle it!!! How rude :)

But yeah, holy moley, I love that ice cream too... and I have to confess, as I might embarass myself with this comment... but... as of November 1st, Claire and I have been listening to Christmas music - the Polar Express CD to be exact. And she loves it by the way... I just want to drag out her first Christmas as long as possible - is that so wrong?? :)
(sorry, this is like the longest response ever...)
And I have to piggy-back on Amy's comment about Nate and the monkey costume (and Abby's too, for that matter) - undoubtably the cutest monkey and chicken I've ever seen. Nice work you two.
