i thought i bought pants....not capris

Nate's 0-3 month clothes are all SO SHORT. They fit his
little body but they aren't long enough. They just aren't working for us anymore. He has floods. I didn't care as much when it was really hot out but now his little legs get cold because half of them are sticking out. I ended up buying a pair of actual pants since they seem to fit OK.
The sad thing is most of our 3-6 month outfits are one piece outfits. I'm sure they'll fit at first and then we'll have the same capri problem.
I wonder if they'll ever make a size "tall" for babies. :)

We're starting to have the same problem, as I'm sure you've noticed in some of our photos!!! Luckily, dresses hide a lot of Olivia's length. :) Too bad you can't use that disguise. That's what our poor kids get for having tall moms.

What I have been doing is putting the girls in a long sleeve onesie and then putting these on them. Everything is covered, and diaper changes are soooo easy.

I first bought them for Addison when she decided to be crawler girl - a little extra protection on the knees, etc. But, as it's chilly in the mornings when we walk, etc. I have been using them to keep their little ankle area warm.

AND, they are a fun way to spice up the wardrobe.

p.s. the girls were lingering in the 95th percentile for height. But at the six month check up, Mackenzie was the first one to bounce "off the chart" - I am interested in where Nate will fall on said chart.

Well, Nate is a tall good-looking boy! It is too bad that they make pants shorter than longer- Riley has been a victim of the floods in her life also!!

I have the same exact problem with Taylor! Recently, I have found some stuff at Gymboree that are long enough AND that fits her tiny waist. Good luck!!

Like mother like son! Love the floods. We just need to find him a pair of the old BYU blue sweat pants and you two could match! haha!

What did you expect with how tall his parents are! Just get him some little jeans for the fall- call it his little man outfit! =)

Isn't it crazy how quickly they grow out of their clothes...I bet you have stuff that he hasn't even worn yet? He is looking so big...we can't wait to see him!

You've got to love those tall long leg genes that create nightmares for finding a fit. I don't think it is as hard for boys as for girls once they get older. You should suggest to Sam to tell gap to make baby tall we can't be a minority can we?
