the santa train

Out in Boulder City . . . a cute town about 20 mins away from our house . . . is the Nevada Southern Railway.  It’s a cute train that runs on the weekends that we’ve been on a few times.

In December, they have the Santa Train and I’ve never remembered early enough to get a ticket.  This hot commodity sells out quickly!

But I was on top of it this year and gathered a group of people and we went on the train with Santa & Mrs. Claus and it turned out great!  The kids enjoyed looking at all of the trains and running around while the adults waited in line & they loved being on the train, too.  It was a fun outing.

A group of us went to Tony’s Pizza [they have fabulous garlic knots!] for lunch and visited a cute icecream/candy parlor next door.  It was a fun morning out in Boulder City!
