Metro Pizza & Bowling with the big kids

My parents were able to watch Abbie and Daisy for four days this weekend while Ali & Tripp were at a seminar.  When Sam & I realized we were both free on Friday afternoon we decided to take advantage of it!  My mom let Ryan take a nap at her house while Sam & I took Abbie, Nate & Daisy to Metro Pizza for lunch and then bowling.

The kids enjoyed their usual lump of pizza dough that they get to mold and play with while we wait for our food.  It eventually became a beard or a mustache.

All of a sudden the subtle Christmas background music became loud, dance music.  And so the kids felt the urge to dance in the booth.

On the way to the bowling alley, Aunt Sam taught the kids the Batman version of jingle bells.  “Jingle bells, Batman smells . . . Robin laid an egg.”

These kids sure do love to bowl.  All three of them beat Aunt Sam.

We went back to Grandma’s and played hide and seek in the front yard until Ryan woke up.

It was a great Friday afternoon.

Thank you both for taking the time out to be great aunts....then for posting it so I could read about it. My girls are so lucky to have you two in their lives and so am I. Love you both to the moon (then right back).
