He CLIMBS. A lot. He climbs on to the chair to play with the shutters. Well, actually – he climbed on to Nate’s green chair to get on to this chair [which happens to be from my grandma flo]. He’s getting creative.
He moved a chair closer to the oven so he could stand on it to watch Wes’ bread bake. He kept saying pointing saying “hot.”
. We have the “pull handle” doors, not the “turn handle” doors so he can open them. And he loves it.
. He can reach the top of the kitchen counter. Wes learned this the hard way when Ryan pulled a hot plate of mac and cheese off the counter and it landed all on his arm. The edges of our counters are now completely empty.
. He loves whole milk. We’re on our last can of formula. Hallelujah.
. He signs “more”. He thinks he’s pretty cool that he communicates at least one thing now. He’ll point at something and then sign more with a huge grin on his face. It makes me smile every time.
. The other day, Kiley and I decided to use a Spicy Picky Groupon and take four kids to lunch with us after preschool. We were mid-conversation when we both realized Ryan wasn’t really moving. He was almost asleep! Poor guy. Preschool mornings are a little rough for him without a real nap in his bed! This particular day he refused to take a morning nap so while he was acting happy – he was apparently exhausted!
He’s turning in to quite the little kid!

We love Ryan! And Wes bakes bread? He's a better housewife than I am. I need to learn to do that!
Wow! I think Ryan and Jaidyn are going to get along great at the lake, but probably asking for trouble too!!! They are just alike and that scares me a little. Danger ahead!
I love hearing about this boy!!!
Thanks for the cool update!
Love,
