Nate usually watches a cartoon in the morning - it's either Elmo or Mickey these days. This morning's conversation went like this:
Me: "Nate, do you want to watch Elmo or Mickey?"
silence . . . as Nate is thinking about it.
Nate: "I watch football."

why am i the only one who suffers through caillou in the mornings??? dang it girls... we need to upgrade to mickey! (not a chance on the football, remember who their father is).
