I feel like a lot happened this month with our little miss.
- We got her out of the swaddle. After that many months of wrapping her up to sleep, it’s so nice to not! I love seeing her roll and scoot around in her crib. She has a few stuffed animals in there that she plays with when she wakes up happy!
- She’s going to bed earlier! Hallelujah. That 3rd snooze disappeared and so she started going to bed between 7-8pm and it’s magical.
- She was a HORRIFIC sleeper for the first half of this month and then something clicked and she is so much better! She was sleeping through the night a number of times a week or she is just up once. Like I said, a breakthrough month.
- She loves to eat. She will still eat baby food but loves “real” food too.
- Loves her brothers.
- She waves hi and bye.
- She wants to move. Bad. This whole sitting in one place is getting old.
- She got the flu! It was so sad to see her barf so much. No baby should have to endure that. Or mama.
- She’s had some cranky times this month. She is very protective of her lower gums – she jams her tongue down there any time I try to see so it’s hard to see how swollen her gums are. Teeth perhaps?
- Ryan was pushing her in her little red car and got going a little too fast. She has a pretty cute sad face.
- She gets shy! When she’s being held and someone says hi, she buries her face in your chest. Pretty cute.
- She gets at least one “look at those eyes” comments a day. She’s got some pretty blues.
- Her little bum is constantly in pain. It’s raw . . . no matter how many different diaper creams I try!
- She knows when she has been left alone and doesn’t like it.
- She gets MAD when you take her food away.
Love this girl.
